Phase 4: ACTING ON FINDINGS
Acting on Findings focuses on sharing research results and facilitating people to act on these results. In this phase steps are taken to be strategic in communicating findings and in engaging stakeholders for action. There are two main activities:
SHARE FINDINGS
Researchers and stakeholders work together to share research results in formats and ways that resonate with target audiences. Findings can be shared in a variety of written, visual and oral ways, including traditional research reports, community forums and creative artistic productions.
ACT ON THE RESULTS
Create and implement action plans with community involvement based on research findings. Action plans can range from comprehensive community plans to a series of independent micro projects. Leadership for acting on the results shifts from researchers to steering committee members and other community stakeholders.
