Act on Findings

Phase 4 in community-based research involves acting on findings. In this final stage, research findings are shared, and acted upon to create positive change within or outside of organizations.

STEPS INCLUDE:​

  1. Communicate findings that speak to various stakeholders (internal or external to the research). Different communication methods may speak to different audiences.

  2. Consult with, and take guidance from your steering committee. Steering committee members may have valuable ideas and networks to help move findings into action.

  3. Prioritize action and relevance. Look for ways to implement findings in programming, or new partnerships, or policy windows to spark change.
